South Shields Premier Hotel

Little Haven offers probably the nicest hotel accomodation in South Shields. It is one of the larger hotels and is in a beautiful location on the beach.

There are plenty of guest houses and B&Bs however, if you prefer something cheaper and with more unique character. Most guesthouses are located in Ocean Road which is very central

Little Haven is slightly further away in a more remote stretch of the beach but is still only about 20 mins walk from the centre of town.

Unique Quality: The Littlehaven restaurant is popular with non-guests and can get busy at lunch times.

There is a lovely outside patio terrace where you can eat and gaze at the beautiful coast (weather permitting).

The Little Haven is also a popular venue for wedding receptions.

Next to the Little Haven is the famous South Shields sculpture 'Conversation piece' which are unusual and worth a look.

"Nightlife"

The most exciting places to visit in South Shields, is the Caterhine Cookson Musuem and probably the beautiful beach and promeade which is lovely during the summer. The best place to stay is the Little Haven Hotel which is situated right on the beach. As regards to nightlife "Dusk" is the main nightclub which is usually busy every Thursday, Friday and Staurday night. Good bards include atalantic, chase and the newly opened Vibe. Food wise Pacinos is a nice itlian on Ocean road and there are a lot of indians on that road too.
