Almost 40 events over a three-day period organised by the Rotary Club of Kenilworth, with the main event being the Festival of Music in the Castle. This year (2008) the festival is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (18-20 July). On each evening there is an open-air concert in Kenilworth Castle (courtesy of English Heritage) with a 45 piece professional orchestra and soloists. The Castle is open from 5.30pm for picnics and free wine tasting, provided by Sainsburys, with the concerts commencing at 7.00pm.
Other events planned are an Art Show, Battle of the Bands, Old Time Music Hall, Face Painting, Pig Roast, a Sedan Chair Race and various other events.
The Festival will continue as an Annual Event.
