Travel Tips for Warwick

Police Station

by Imbi

When you are traveling abroad or domestically you don’t want to come across with any problems and I hope that every traveler stays away from all kind of troubles. But just in case including this tip, of Police Station, which is located on Priory Road, next to Priory Park. I can’t tell you that how helpful they are as I didn’t happen to go in there.

Warwick Racecourse

by grayfo

Warwick Racecourse hosts both Flat and Jump racing meetings throughout the year, the first race meeting was run in 1728 making Warwick one of the most historic courses in the country. The central grandstand incorporates the first stand built in 1808. In 2000 it underwent a £3 million refurbishment, and now includes a new restaurant, a betting shop, disabled facilities, and Bar facilities. Binoculars and lots of money.

The Yeomanry Museum & Warwick Town Museum

by andywing

Everyone just walks by as the entrance to the museum is easily missed.

On the corner of Jury Street & Castle Street is the old Court House that now houses the Tourist Information Centre.

Under the old Court House is the Yeomanry Museum & Warwick Town Museum. The entrance is round from the front of the building in Castle Street.

Free admission.

Visit the Museum.

by leics

Housed in the Market Hall, this little museum has good displays on local archaeology, geology and natural history as well as the Great Fire of Warwick. It's closed on Mondays (and Sundays out of season), but is otherwise open from 10:00 to 17:00. Entrance is free.
