Lord Leycesters Hospital by roamer61
This is a glorious example of late 15th Century architecture. Built during the reign of Henry VII, this building served as a home for the poor of the time. It is of the Tudor Style and is one of the best preserved examples of public architecture of the era. A short walk from the castle, it is easily visited. However, much of it is closed due to the fact that it is used as a home for old parisheners. Someparts can be visited. Free.
