Shakespeare Room by Galahad
The Shakespeare Memorial Library is housed in a private room within the Central Library complex. It is squeezed into the concrete mass alongside the Adrian Boult Hall. The room itself is not generally open to the public but can be view by scholars and small parties.The Library was founded in 1864 by the local Shakespeare Club. The Library contains copies of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Folio editions from 1623 onwards.
