Dangerous place to park and get out of
I stayed here for work a few weeks back. The rooms are nice enough, usual holiday inn express standard. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is as good as can be expected from a hotel of this type.
The food from the Harvester pub onsite was very nice also.
Bad points.
Front of the hotel faces the main dual carriage way into walsall and is noisey. My colleague was staying on the rear, also noisey - he was woken by the sound of people breaking into and vadalising a Range Rover parked in the hotel car par.
Apparently car crime is very common in this area, there are in fact many warnings around the hotel.
Its also difficult to travel towards the M6 in rush hour from this hotel, you have to do a 'U turn' on the dual carriage way.
