    • It is centrally located and the hotel itself is very comfortable. The rooms are nice, if basic and the staff are very friendly.

    There are really no special features at this hotel, but the location makes up for that.

    • Ibis hotels are generally of low standard but reasonably cheap. This hotel, even by Ibis standards, is dreadful. The weak heating made it impossible to get the room warm in January. The sound-proofing between the rooms is very poor. The staff are unfriendly.

    I foolishly tried to stay here again in the spring thinking that the poor heating would not matter. But I did not even get as far as my room. This is the only hotel where I have made a confirmed booking for a non-smoking room and then been told on arrival that there were no non-smoking rooms left!

    The only thing to recommend about this hotel is that it is near to the city centre.

    • Although it was only for 1 night, and breakfast, the hotel is in the heart of the city, and close to all amenities.
    Double rooms are small, but very neat and tidy.... Ideal for a night or 2 in Birmingham....
    The service is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
    Being in the Chinatown part of the city, there is plenty to see and do....
    Close to the Bullring, markets, restaurants and nightclubs... this would be the ideal hotel for anyone coming to shop, sightsee and clubbing....
