Stayed for 2 days on business trip. Awful and rude service especially from receptionist. Was addressed by first name upon arrival and even refused help with maps of Birmingham! Old building with equally old furniture and facilities. Bed lamp was on same switch as ventilation fan in the toilet which drew air from the bar. Disastrously smokey at night when one wants to read in bed. Would not recommend to anyone because of uncomfortable stay.
