Thistle group

The Thistle Birmingham Edgebaston is just about within walking distance of the town centre if you're feeling energetic! The hotel is a cylindrical shape; the lobby on the ground floor, car parking on 1st and 2nd floors and rooms on 4, 5 an 6. Due to the shape of the hotel, the rooms are wedge shaped. The exterior rooms are probably quite pleasant, but the interior rooms look out on to the central 'core' of the hotel, which is not much more than a dark shaft. These rooms are also small and dark, with tiny bathrooms.
The hotel serves a good quality 'English breakfast' in a bright, clean dining room.
