We are flying Ryan Air out of Birmingham Intl. Airport. The train stops at Birmingham Airport and Birmingham Intl. Airport. Are they the same? I can buy a ticket to either on the website. Which should I choose?
There is only one major airport in Birmingham, but to put your mind at rest choose Birmingham International Airport anyway.
Use www.nationalrail.co.uk to find train times, details and fares; it is the official UK railway website.
The airport website on
http://www.bhx.co.uk/showpage.aspx?id=24
also gives information about travelling by train.
These are one and the same. Although just to confuse things the name of the station if you are looking it up on the National Rail site is simply Birmingham International (without the airport bit).
Hi! Hope you've got your travel plans sorted by now. When you get off your train , you'll see plenty of signs directing you from the platform to the airport, just a few metres to the airport entrance.

Wolverhampton Wanderers play at the Molineux in Wolverhampton. Their support is mainly from the Wolverhampton area. They are about the same size as West Brom, but have a more significant history being one of the founding members of the original Football League. Leeds also lost to Wolves 1-0 this season :(
This pedestrian arcade was built in 1876 over an old railway tunnel. It contains a number of upmarket niche retailers and boutiques.
Dec 2003 One of the specialist shops in Great Western Arcade is Chouchoute, a chocolatere.
The Waterfront area of Brierley Hill has many bars, restuarants and clubs all set by the picturesque canal. Most are open until 2am. Heres a description of a few of the best -
Brewers Wharf - This fantastic building was moved brick by brick to its present canalside location and transformed into a great family pub. Good food is server upstairs while the bar downstairs gets busy with all age ranges eager to party.
Bar Edge - Great music and good beer. Attracts the slightly younger crowd, but generally a good atmosphere.
Weatherspoons - Great food and beer at cheap prices. Note this place gets rammed and doesn't have an entertainments licence - so no music.
PJ's - Good food and even better beer. Great music and a great atmosphere.
The Academy. This place gets super rammed (particularly with the younger crowd - read "kids"), but plays some great music.
Bar Rumba - Again this place gets super full, but attracts the twenty plus crowds. Again good beer and tunes. mainly smart casual
This restaurant is located in Birmingham's Chinatown (near the Bullring). It is a great restaurant for anyone and serves a variet of meals and foods. I paid £7.00 for an unlimited buffet and large drink plus you can have as many servings as you want! It is also very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Overall great food, great service and great value. Starters
