Ramada Hotel & Resort Birmingham: Lock up your valuables
Satisfaction:

Very disappointing hotel. My sister and mother booked a spa weekend. It was disappointing that the swimming pool was freezing cold but, much more importantly, my mum's Nintendo DS was stolen from the room while they were in the spa. My mum is in her seventies and uses the DS for "brain training" and scrabble every day so she is very upset by the loss. The hotel staff seemed completely indifferent to her loss and accepted that she should contact the police. I've stayed in hotels all around the world and I guess I've been lucky never to have anything stolen. My first tip is to follow the standard hotel warning to lock up all valuables. My second tip is to avoid this hotel because of the theft AND the indifference of the staff!
