“Great staff, shame bout the interior`s"

Not the easiest place to find even with a Sat-Nav, as it`s tucked behind a place called Peachy Keen`s which also has the same address 1741 Coventry Road, very confusing. Now I know this is suppose to be cheap and cheerful, but dear God there is a certainly a level guest must be entiled to.
Do I really need mould growing in the corner of the bath/shower around the edge of the , broken pedal bin in the bathroom. Bathroom door poly-filled, but not painted over, Stains on the B/room door that have not been clened for sometime, Sofa had no seating cushions, just some taty thin form covered with an old sheet, curtain fell off the curtain rail wen pulled open, Musty smell in the room.

Unique Quality: On the good side the staff are wonderful, and you just know most are working on minimum wage, but God luv them they work so hard, and would do anything for you within reason...
Not sure I`d like to stay there again in room 15.. worn and not one of the more modern Travelodges.

Travelodge, close to the NEC

It's basic but handy for the NEC, being only four miles away. This place does require a car though. Its also handy for Hall Green dog-track, Ladypool Rd (for the baltis) and Birmingham city centre (about a fifteen minute drive). There's no breakfast but there is a restaurant right next door called Spice Buffet where you can pig out on as much as you can eat for about £8. If you're driving to the NEC in the morning there's an excellent greasy spoon at the turning for the airport estate (on the left). Look for the signs.

Travelodge Birmingham - Review

I stayed at the said hotel recently . The service was very quick and the people who worked there were very nice and polite. The room is was in was small but cosy . The hotel has a good transport link to the city centre and has a cinema up the road.

Unique Quality: Views werent good as the hotel was surroiunded by buildings and the big wheel.
