"Evensong at the Cathedral"
Having spent the Sunday morning birdwatching in nearby Pagham Harbour we wanted to attend the Evensong service at the Cathedral in Chichester. The service starts around 3.30pm. It was a very pleasant service with some wonderful choral singing from a visiting choir. The atmosphere of the cathedral with its soaring spire and rich ancient history made the event all the more special.
Unfortunately we didn't get much time to explore the rest of the city, maybe a return another day .........
Well I did manage to return but only en route to the RSPB's excellent wildlife reserve at Pulborough Books about 12 miles north of Chichester. See my tip for more details
