Room Not Much Better Than A Motel Chain Room

I stayed at this hotel 3 nights in July 2005. Judging from the lobby and the recreational facilities such as pool and fitness club, this must be a very fine hotel indeed. However, my room was in serious need of renovation. To be honest, I'd rather have stayed at a motel or b&b with a chance to pay 30 quid instead of the 50 I spent per night on my single room. This was a discounted rate, maybe that's why I was given a less than impressive room. Situated in the fringes of the city, very convenient for the motorways to Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester. Not so convenient if you want to visit Saltaire and the Dales.

Though it was supposed to be a disabled friendly room, especially the bathroom lacked proper access features such as roll-in shower.
