A RARE TREAT
I had the rare treat of staying at the Crowne Plaza Leeds, just 5 miles from my home.
The rooms are very comfortable and quite roomy.

Not that far from the centre!
I was slightly concerned about this hotel after reading reviews on other sites, even to the point of almost cancelling, but all proved totally unfounded, we recently stayed on a Sat and Sun night, We had a two for one offer with an upgrade to executive so it was excellent value £114 (The upgrade to executive even included half bottle of wine,chocolates and a 20% discount in the Spa). Quality,Location,rooms and facilities were all very good standard, downsides..well typically for a business style hotel the bar on the first floor belonged in the expensive “more atmosphere on the moon” category with …and this is a pet hate of mine........... a bar manager who constantly chewed gum…..yuk!
