Bradford on Avon Wiltshire
"Bridge over the river Avon"
Bradford on Avon is one of England's prettiest stone small towns. The main bridge crossing the River Avon dates from the 17th century. A tall but tiny saxon church rescued from obscurity here in the 19th century has turned out to be one of the most important buildings of its age in Britain. The town is also home to an 14th century tithe barn and the Kennet and Avon Canal loops around the town. Bradford-on-Avon is situated just a few short miles from Bath and Bristol. London is about 100miles.
Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of my own of this pretty little town, the ones I have used are curtesy of freefoto.com.
