The Old Mill

The Old Mill dates from around 1500 & is set in pretty locations in West Harnham next to the River Avon. It has indoor & outdoor seating, with a bar & resturant. Go down a little passage, & you will come to the beer garden where you can watch the ducks.

There are nine rooms upstairs with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are cleaned everyday, the front rooms overlook the river. My only complaint is that I think that the men's room is extreamley smelly, it's very off-putting & I always hold my breath when going past here!

Unique Quality: The Old Mill is about 10 minutes from the city of Salisbury, with amazing views across the fields towards the spire. If you are cycling, there is a bar to tie your bike to, I've cycled here many times. The village of Harnham is nice to wander around in the summer with a playing field not too far away, town path is good to wander up towards the city; althrough dodgey at night.
