Top Location!
Formally the Forte Hotel "The Giffard", refurbished 2005 into a Travelodge. I've not stayed here as I live in Worcester but I've stayed in many Travelodges around the UK... so the accommodation should be fairly standard for a travelodge, that is.. usually comfortable and equipped with ensuite etc.
Unique Quality: What makes this travelodge better than most is it's location... slap bang opposite the Cathedral!!! and right in the heart of Worcester close to all the sights you need to see. Everything is walkable so no worries about "designated driver" and all that.
car-parking is adjacent at the NCP car park (5 pound, each 24 hrs for Travelodge guests).
It has it's own BarCafe but to be honest with so many good places to eat in Worcester you would be better off giving it a miss.
As it's now a travelodge it's half the price of what was "the Giffard".
Occasional 26pound rooms offered on the travelodge website too!!!
