caravan: Primrose Valley

Check in was very quick and caravans were clean however not well stocked in the equipment side. We were in gold and we froze even with the in bedroom heating so take blankets and hot water bottles etc. Also beware! The top range caravans are a long walk from the entertainment etc.

Unique Quality: The evening entertainment was something to be seen. Funky Monkey Angus Madness totally rocks and I would recommend it to everyone. Didnt see Rory though :p

Downcliffe House Hotel: Filey's Finest

This was originally a victorian house and ha been refurbished to recapture the former Victorian feeling and by what you read is exactly what you get.
Nearly all of the bedrooms have sea-views which include mini-bars, tv' and and a four poster room.

Unique Quality: Apart from being a hotel it is also open during the day to the public from 10:00am serving tea & coffee with a fantastic selection of home made cakes, yum yum !
You can choose to eat/drink either in the bar or on the terrace.
