Great place to stay

Great place to stay. A Victorian shooting Lodge set back from the road in its own grounds. Tartan carpet, deers heads and antlers, the real Scottish experience. Great food with Scottish venison, lobster and really nice hot smoked Salmon. Real great staff, felt more like visiting friends then staying at a hotel. They made us a packed lunch for our adventure into the Cairngorms park and organised clay pigeon shooting for us. Just Fab all round.

Unique Quality: Really liked the decor with a stylish dinning room with a 1920's fireplace and loved the breakfast room which has a deers head above the mirror. Cosy bar and lots of real firers. Just right to enjoy one of the 80 or so whiskys that they have. Oh and Andy will give you a whisky demo if you ask. Didn't know that there was so much to know about whisky.
