A home from home
I have stayed at the Belvedere two times now and would go back every time. There is a magic about the place. Guests are welcomed as part of the family and Chris' cookery is as good as any of the best restaurants. This is not a place to simply sleep but it is a holistic experience. I couldn't recommend the place enough, but I wouldn't need to as its reputation seems well known. If you want to stay here, and you should do, make sure you book well in advance.
Unique Quality: The Belvedere has all the basic amenities such as TV's in the rooms etc, but to specifically recommend it is its situation, with views over Brodick bay, the level of hospitality of the owners and Chris' cooking (in particular). Training in self development and healing is delivered there and you can book for a 'holistic break' which includes various extras such as use of the local leisure suite and complimentary therapy treatments, which should all make you feel thoroughly cherished.
