North Queensferry
North Queensferry is a small village on the north shore of Firth of Forth situated between the Forth Bridge and the Forth Road Bridge. After busy sightseeing in Edinburgh it was nice to come here, visit Deep Sea World and walk around in the village for a while.
The name Queensferry comes from Queen Margaret who often crossed the Firth of Forth at this place by ferry when she was going between the palace in Dunfermline and her chapel in Edinburgh castle.
