The continental breakfast was rather disappointing - cereal, bread and rather stewed tea.
The main problem was that the key card system was not working (and had not been for a couple of weeks), which meant that everytime I wished to return to my room, one of the housekeeping staff had to come up to let me in. One afternoon, the pass keys went missing, and several of us had to wait in the reception area whilst frantic phone calls were made to the person who was believed to have had them last. This all added to the experience.
All in all, it is not the most luxurious hotel I have stayed in, but it is comfortable and convenient for the University.
