cosy backpackers hostel

Arnie's Backpackers is housed in an old Victorian house and situated almost opposite Queen's University, a 15 mins walk to the city center and close to nightlife entertainment. Due to its small character, it's very easy to meet other travelers. There's a real coalfire which definitely adds to its cosy atmosphere. If weather permits, it's nice to sit outside in the small courtyard. Arnie, the owner, is a very nice man, who usually gets help from one or more international helpers and from his doggie Snowy.
Free coffee or tea on arrival!

Unique Quality: Very cosy atmosphere! This is a hostel where you can actually still meet people, not always easy nowadays in big hostels...

Wonderful Tour

by punkpin

I took a black cab tour that was offered by my hostel, Arnies Backpackers. I highly recommend it. The guide took us through all of the major neighborhoods where there has been conflict and explained to us the different meanings of the murals that have been painted on the sides of houses.

HI again--the rooms are fine--I stayed in a double room--it had one set of bunkbeds. I would think that you will probably have your pick of rooms if you are travelling anytime soon. I think the summers are the most busy. : )
