More about Benedicts Hotel
Bloody marvellous Boyo!!!
Went to watch Wales play NI (3-2 to Wales !!!! Get in !!)
On the journey to the hotel from the airport, the taxi driver tried to convince us that staying in Benedicts was tantamount to suicide. "It was a bad hotel in a bad area". However, 15 minutes into the journey, he had changed his tune, and Benedicts was now, "a fantastic hotel in a dodgy area".
The taxi driver was just the first highlight of our stay. The hotel was staffed by really friendly employees, who were also very helpful in terms of directions, restaurants etc.
The rooms were fantastic! King sized beds, jacuzzi baths, quality toiletries, (that all lived up to expectations).
The restaurant and bar had a great atmosphere and served excellent food and beer (especially the Guiness). Breakfast was more than satisfactory, a true Ulster fry or just fruit and cereal.
On the whole, the hotel was well placed, excellent value for money, had a fantastic atmosphere and will get a second (and third) visit from yours truly.
And all for £75/room/night

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. Stayed 2 nites from the 6/10 - 8/10. Reception staff were lovely. Bed was huge and amazing!!! Enjoyed the jacuzzi bath (can even fit 2!) and even a cd player for listening to some music while getting ready to go out. Lovely restaruant with excellent meals. Would love to come back soon!!!
Fabulous Fantastic Benedicts!!
Arrived at Benedicts early morning after letting the hotel know, our room was ready ahead of the usual check in time and as were leaving very early Sunday morning we were allowed to have breakfast since we would have missed out on Sunday. Smooth check in and Damion was on hand with lots of useful knowledge, let him book a black taxi tour for you with Robert fantastic!!! You will be picked up at the hotel and dropped off at your convenience. We had an executive room which had a kingsize bed, spa bath, cd player and reclining chair amongst the higher than normal standard home comforts. Restaurant serves the most amazing food, breakfast and dinner being superb. You must try the chocolate torte!! Main public bar is fantastic, DJ plays a good selection of music and it gets packed on a Friday and Saturday night, wonderful friendly atmosphere. See Marty the barman he has the most amazing memory and will look after you!! All in all a wonderful immaculately clean hotel where staff will go the extra mile to make your stay that bit more comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is bang in the heart of the nightlife/shops/restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and we will be back very soon!!!!
Quirky, friendly, noisy fun!
I stayed in Benedicts on a girlie weekend away and loved it. Its near Queens University in a studenty area with loads of bars so it's not for people who want a quiet life, but it's fantastic for the crack. The rooms are nice, the food is yummy and so is one of the Benedicts bar men! ;)Good nightclub. A really good value for money hotel.
This hotel is right in the middle of the social area of Belfast. It is attached to a brillaint bar and nightclub hosting the same name and their restaurant is excellent. Food, decor and service is brilliant. The hotel rooms, even though beside a nightclub do not allow the noise in. Beautiful rooms, great service and only minutes walk from the center of Belfast and great transport system.
Great place to stay in Belfast, N.Ireland.
Great experience, beautiful facility, friendly and very helpful staff. Small problem with parking, but that's it. Recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Thanks for making our stay in Belfast so much better, we had a blast.
Central, comfortable and friendly
Very convenient for the city centre (15 mins walk) and the university. The attached pub is noisy and for youngsters, but did not infringe on our enjoyment. The room was excellent, but a bit noisy from some rooftop fans etc., and too hot for us (it was early March so maybe the heating was turned up). Staff friendly and breakfast very good. We would stay there again.
Enjoyed Benedicts Hospitality
Stayed there last weekend for two nights and pleasantly surprised by both the standard of service in Benedicts and the decor/cleanliness of the Hotel and it's facilities. Firstly the food on offer, never have I received such a wonderful, comprehensive breakfast menu in any hotel I have visited, 10/10 for breakfast, lots of selection and the cooked breakfast was served fresh, piping hot and speedily. Restaurant meals were also very good and the fact that you have to book a table for dinner speaks for itself. Accommodation was very good, more than adequate, spacious, clean with iron, hairdryer, room safe and toiletries included free of charge. Bed linen and towels changed both days we stayed there. Staff were delightful, all very friendly, courteous and helpful and always with a smile. Only negative comment, the Benedict can be very noisy at weekends, favorite haunt of the "young" with accompanying loud music, however entry to the Bar was subject to the approval of doormen/security who ensured everyone inside the Benedict behaved impeccably and were there to enjoy the company and entertainment. The music from the bar did not penetrate to the guest rooms.
To conclude were I to return again to Belfast, I would definitely hope to stay again at Benedicts.
Great boutique hotel
My second stay ay Benedict's Hotel, and I'd recommend it to everyone. A great location, wonderful staff, the best hotel breakfast I have EVER had, clean, luxurious rooms (I'd recommend upgrading to an executive for the extra £10 a night, although the standard rooms are still very good).
This may 'only' be a 3* hotel, but who really needs 5* facilities? This hotel has everything the traveller could ever wish for, unless you are after business conference facilties. Wi-fi in every room, too.
Lovely hotel, but not the best if you have a car
The Benedict is a lovely hotel, the staff are friendly and the rooms clean. However, if you bring your car with you be ware. The receptionist tried to explain where the parkade was (near by but not within the building) after admitting she didn't drive and really wasn't sure where the mysterious black door was that led to the parkade was. I took the remote and drove in cirlces looking for some magic black door. I gave up and ended up parking in the clear way zone and had to be gone by 8am, so much for sleeping in. The wifi worked one day and not the other.
