Derry City Cemetery - INLA memorial
This is the INLA (Irish National Liberation Army) memorial. Like the IRA, INLA was (and still is) a paramilitary organization whose goal was to neutralize the British security forces. Today, INLA has accepted the peace process and limits itself to taking out drug dealers. There is a tribute to the 10 hunger strikers who perished at this memorial. Three of the 10 were INLA members. Two of those, Patsy O'Hara and Mickey Devine, were Derry natives and are buried side-by-side at this memorial.
