I stayed here on New Years Day 2003 and it was a welcoming site after being soaked at the Giants Causeway. The hotel has been converted from its previous role as the North County Hotel. The double storey ground floor has a large bar with a dining area off the the side. Accomodation is all ensuite with cable TV and the breakfast included in the price is a buffet affair for cereals etc with a plated ulster fry to follow.
Unique Quality: Great views out over the bay from rooms
Small guest car park to the rear.
Directions: Follow the one way street past the harbour and it is opposite the large grassed area.
Modern hotel in the town centre - great location and there is a carpark out back (although it gets crowded pretty quickly). The rooms are large if a bit dark (decorated in very dark blues) and the breakfast (included in the price) is good too - will keep you going well into the afternoon.
This hotel is popular and right on the main street so it can be a bit noisy at times but if you want to be in the centre of things this hotel is good value.
Directions: At the end of the main street - watch out for the one way system if you're coming by car!!!
