Homesyde B & B: Kilkeel's Best B & B
This is a lovely B & B just off Greencastle Street.The hosts are very welcoming and friendly,whilst breakfast is very nice.Rooms are clean and tidy.I strongly recommend a stay here if in the area.

Hanna's Close: Mountains of Mourne Cottages
Hanna's Close was once a group of farm buildings owned by the Hanna family. It has been converted into vacation cottages, fully equipped with linens, kitchen goods, everything you need. We've stayed there twice. The on-site manager, Willie Annett, does a great job. If you are interested in a quiet, rural visit in Northern Ireland, this is a great place.
The Mourne mountains are popular hiking areas and many of the guests at Hanna's Close spend the day on the trails.
Unique Quality: Hanna's Close was originally settled in 1690 and the same family owns the property to this day. It has won a number of awards for its restoration work.
The Kilkeel River flows past the Close and I understand one can fish (with appropriate permit, of course) in it. Since I don't fish, I can't say whether it's good or not. But it is a beautiful path.

Kilmorey Arms: Hotels
If you must stay in Kilkeel, you might stay in the Kilmorey Arms. Which would be a total waste of money, beacause there is nothing in Kilkeel worth visiting as a tourist.
Unique Quality: During the week you can visit the hotel bar, which will have some interesting characters in it. Warning - beware the aged Elvis wannabe, and "Buckfast John". Also, "The Peddler", an aged prostitute, is apparently a visitor.
