The White Hart Hotel: Best hotel in town
The White Hart is a 17th century coaching inn to be found in the centre of town. It has held official licence as Okehampton's premier hotel since 1623. Has a very nice bar downstairs which is also popular with locals. Is very comfortable and a nice atmosphere. Room rates: Single £55.00, Double/twin £75.00, Four poster £85.00.
Prices include a full English breakfast & vat.
I haven't stayed here cos I live here!

Okehampton Youth Hostel: Stay in an old railway shed!!
Friends have stayed in and say its to be recommended. The hostel is situated in an old railway goods shed right on the edge of Dartmoor. Its a youth hostel, so you need to be a member to stay here. Adult price is £15.50 per night. Meals are available here.
Unique Quality: You can try all sorts of outdoor activities whilst staying here; gorge scrambling, rock climbing, pony trekking, archery, Dartmoor walks etc.
