Fishing Town
by deeper_blue
Padstow has a colourful ancient history and has many medieval buildings, it remains as a working fishing port.
From the harbour you can see a small fleet of fishing boats and holidaymakers on the water.
If you get into trouble at sea, the lifeboat service will help, my cousin Michael is 2nd mechanic. Very hazy memories, but always good ones.

"Bried overview."
Padstow (Cornish: Lannwedhenek) is a small town, civil parish and cargo port on the north coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies within the administrative district of North Cornwall. The UK Census 2001 reported a parish population of 3,162
It is often referred to as 'Padstein' by locals. The reason behind this is the involvement and investment by celebrity chef Rick Stein in the town.
Various groups have opposed his influence, claiming that his presence has led to spiraling house prices which locals can no longer afford.
