Hungate Cottages: Home from Home in a Spacious Cottage

We selected this accommodation on the personal recommendation of a friend who had stayed there in one of the 11 cottages in the group.
All, or most of the cottages have been converted from former farm buildings and stand in beautifully kept grounds with tall trees, shrubs and flowers which makes for a rural and secluded atmosphere even though it is less than 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
Some cottages have their own parking space, for those without or where a family group have more than one vehicle there is additional parking in the centre, close to the small office.

Ours was "Bransdale" - a two bedroom cottage standing on its own at the entrance to the site and overlooking the cricket club, Beyond the cricket pitch is the Leisure Centre and swimming pool. Free admission to the pool is available to everyone staying in the cottages.
Free broadband access is also available.

Unique Quality: Attractive, peaceful location. High quality of accommodation, fittings and furnishings. (Good photos of interiors on website)
Everything provided - no extras and beds made up on arrival.
Pleasant surroundings rural with convenience of closeness to shops and town centre.

The accommodation has an official 4* Rating from www.enjoyEngland.com
