Roslin Cottage: Great B&B in Callander
When we booked our ensuite room at Roslin Cottage we were advised that the day we were arriving was Market day.and as we were unsure just when we would arrive after the drive from Dornie, we were told to telephone them just before arrival.
When we did we were told that they were on their way home, they told us where to find the key, to go in and make oursleves comfortable and help ourselves to tea/coffee from the kitchen...How trusting were they?
The cottage and gardens are idylic, all rooms decorated to a very high standard, the bath in our en-suite was huge! Everything spotlessly clean.
At the top of the stairs is an area where guests can sit and relax with a drink, avail themselves of the vast array of DVDs, books, puzzles for kids.
When our hosts Lucy & Sid, [who is a chef at nearby Stirling Castle ] arrived they made us very welcome, showing all over the cottage and garden, we were invited to use their lounge with open fire, at any time ,and if we required an evening meal all we had to do was ask.
Breafast was amazing, we ordered a 'Full Scottish '..began with a selection of cereals, fruit, and juice then Sid appeared with a HUGE platter of food.
Bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, haggis, and fried potatoes.
We sat salivating waiting for the other guests to arrive. Sid came into the dining room to ask if everything was to our liking, noted we weren't eating and asked why.
We told him that we were waiting for the others, to be told there were no others, it was all for us!
It was the best breakfast we had in our entire time in Scotland
I cannot recommend this delightful B&B more, Lucy and Sid epitomise all things good in Scottish hosts, just wish we could have spent more time there.

Keltie Bridge Caravan parc: A peaceful place with lots of space
You can come here when you would like to place your caravan or tent here. The campground manager is very friendly and explains where you can put your tent/caravan & informs you abouit the facilities and can offer information about sight seeing as well.
The view is great, the campsite is peacful and quiet. There are warm showers, there are toilets, a place to wash the dishes and you can use the washing machine or dryer. Coins for that facility are available at the capmground managers office.

Westerton: Quality Bed & Breakfast
This is the perfect place to stay if you are wanting to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. There are only two rooms in this gorgeous house - the Blue Room and the Green Room. By far the Blue Room is the best with outstanding views of the garden. The Green Room is equally beautiful but does face towards the road. The owners (Lesley and Mike) are lovely people and make you feel extremely welcome. Lesley does a fabulous breakfast!
The garden here is amazing. It is huge and with such a huge wealth of wildlife. You almost wish you were an ornithologist just so that you know what bird you are looking at. The river flows along the bottom of the garden. The ultimate luxury is sitting on the terrace with a pot of tea and shortbread watching the world go by ...
