A travesty in the kitchen
I spent a few weeks in the kitchen this spring as a guest chef. I was appalled at the lack of sanitation I witnessed. Tom, the chef-owner, tasted every ingredient, and then proceeded to use the same spoon over and over. The spoons were never cleaned. And this was on ready to serve items, if you eat his food, you definitely eat his saliva. Old and smelly raw meat was mixed with new to temper the foul odor and avoid throwing out the product. Food dropped on the floor is thrown right back into the pan. And the butchered meat was left out for too many days, and sometimes unfrozen and refrozen. Nothing about the place is "green," despite the numerous claims on their website. Fish is caught by trawler in the north of Scotland and then frozen. Also, their animals are living in filthy pens, despite the 2000 acres of farmland they own. Disgusting. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
