Golden Lion, Stirling

I was very impressed with this hotel. Very high quality furnishings, great full English breakfast (sorry, I mean Scottish), nice LCD TVs in the rooms and perfect location in the town centre. Friendly staff too. Room a bit on the small side. No internet.

Unique Quality: Stirling pretty much shuts down at 6pm so there's not much to do in the evenings. Also there are lots of Polish people there, even the shops have Polish food and signs. That's of course a good thing for the slightly insular Scots.

Stirling pretty much shuts down at 6pm so there's not much to do in the evenings. Also there are lots of Polish people there, even the shops have Polish food and signs. That's of course a good thing for the slightly insular Scots.
