Like all these budget chains, the theory is you know what to expect as far as standards are concerned. This place ticked that box. Don't expect any charm or soul...
Double room, double bed. Spacious, clean, quiet. Freeview TV. The hotel staff were bright & friendly. Resto staff more typical dour Scots.
Breakfast is in the pub/resto next door. All you can eat... I didn’t try the dinner.
£57.66 & vat = £67.75 for a single (inc full breakfast). Wifi is extra - £5 p/hour via Swisscom.
It is located next to the A75 - the main road from England to Belfast via Stranraer etc ferries. Close to town, but slightly outside.
