A NICE WARM POOL

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on May 29, 2015

I have stayed here a couple of times and find it a reasonable 3-star’ish hotel with some good basic qualities. First – it has reasonable beds in quiet rooms. I have been able to sleep quiet well. Second – they have a deep, warm, in-door swimming pool for a relaxing dip after a long day at work. Third – they have a full English Breakfast Buffett. Get in there! The hotel is never going to win any architectural awards of have the world’s best décor, but it does the job. They specialise as an overnight stay for older folks on coach (bus) tours, so the clientele tend to be quiet as well. For some reason this place does not often get good reviews, but I have no idea why. It’s a reasonable hotel. It is a taxi ride or car drive from the city centre, but it’s in a quiet residential area not too far from the airport. I have also eaten in their restaurant and the food was good. They also have a bar that’s really a pub and live sports on TV. A good solid choice for business travellers.
