Over rated
I spent one night in a suite in Simpsons Hotel. The hotel is well located in the cities west end. I was a bit disappointed with the suite we had. Size wise it was okay but it looked like they had saved a bit of money on the furnishings. It had a large sitting room with a tiny television, no mini bar, a very small bath and a very cheap four poster bed. The decor was beginning to show its age as well.
I was also disappointed in the standard of the food in the restaraunt. The fillet steak I had was more like a sirloin and the fries that accompanied it were of the frozen variety. The breakfast on the Sunday had Aberdeens famous rowies, unfortunately they appear to have been baked on the Friday.

The classy one
If you fancy something not so odinary, something more classy, Simpson might be the better choice. Old victorian granite buildings converted into hotel. Very well decorated and just about a mile from the city center. Located in the posh area of West End. An experience you wont forget.
Unique Quality: Very nice garden for tea.
