Inverlochy Castle

This private hotel has only 17 rooms, each of them is originally furnitured. The hotel is situated in a very intimate and romantic area. It has a very beautiful garden.

Inverlochy Castle Restaurant

by Andrew_Vodo

Very fashionable and luxury restaurant situated in the Inverlochy Castle, serves modern Scotish cuisine. Be ready for lots of spoons, forks and knives :) And don't forget about the dress code: jackets and ties are mandatory! You can see it on the picture :)

Inverlochy Castle

This castle originally belonged to the Comyns of Badenoch. It was constructed in the 13th century, however the Comyns were destroyed by Robert the Bruce around 1308 and the castle went to the Gordons of Huntly.
It has very simple layout, a square courtyard with a tower at each corner. The castle is fairly ruined and a modern castle was constructed nearby under the same name. The newer Inverlochy Castle is a hotel now.

Do a search in the VT search window above on Ft. William. I did once and there was a lot of information including some wonderful photos.

Good luck.
