Stayed 1 night here in December 08.
The location is very good, close to the centre. You could walk, or there is a bus stop opposite. It also has a car park for residents at the rear.
Our room was very well decorated and comfortable. Our only slight complaint was that our stay coincided with a very cold spell of weather (-7c at night, -3c during the day for several consecutive days) and the heating was just a little inadequate for total comfort. I suspect it would have been fine in all normal circumstances.
Breakfast was excellent - big choice with a traditional Scottish cooked option, plus cereals, fruit, yoghourt, cold meat, cheese. Plenty good coffee!
Friendly hostess Zhanara is Kazakh, but speaks excellent english.
Cost £50 for a double (per room, not per person)
Unique Quality: The breakfast and the level of comfort/decor in the room.
