The white building that you see on the left in this picture is the Rosedale hotel, while the brown house at the right end of the row is an annex to the same hotel.
This is where I stayed during my visit to the Isle of Skye and I was very happy with the choice. Not only because the room was comfortable, with a great view on the bay, but also because the dinners in the hotel restaurant were delicious.
The hotel is very conveniently situated for those who arrive to Portree by bus, because the main square where the buses stop is very near, just at the back of the hotel.
For those who want to visit Skye in the summer it is important to book hotel rooms well in advance, because when the high season begins all the hotels are likely to be fully booked.
