I was looking for a charming, cozy, affordable guest house in Edinburgh and found it my first attempt at this guest house. We were very happy with our 3-day stay. The proprietors are very helpful, friendly and funny... the kind of people you hope to meet when visiting Scotland. The house has a lot of character. The room we stayed in was small and cozy... didn’t have the traditional décor that I thought it might but the whole experience makes up for it. A meat-eater and a vegetarian, my boyfriend & I loved the breakfasts - served in an adorable conservatory. We've had a stay at another guest house in the area for slightly more $$ and were totally disappointed and wished we’d stayed here again.
Breakfast in the conservatory is a great way to start the day. Great location! Walking distance to pretty much everything... or a short cab ride on those rainy days.
