Visit Scotland's famous...
by Kallista
Visit Scotland's famous landmark … Edinburgh Castle. The castle looks impregnable … and it seems to dominate the city centre. My friends and I, armed with a map, explored very crook and cranny of the castle, leaving no stone unturned …
We took most of the morning and a little of the afternoon, guiding ourselves to the upper levels to await the firing of the one o'clock gun from the ramparts of the castle. Booooooomm …. making everyone who was unprepared jumped out of their skin!
SOUVENIRS AROUND THE CASTLE AREA.
by GrantBoone
Walking up the Royal mile towards Edinburgh Castle you will find many small souvenir shops either side of the road. There are some great little items on sale I bought a shield with the 'Grant ' tartan . Its worth a look around.
Arthur's Seat

Well the sun came out just as I was about to make my way to this hill and what a lovely evening I spent there. There is a bitumen road to the top or you can make like a goat and zig zag your way up.
I tried to walk it but ran out of time and had to come back. It is a good idea to take a water bottle with you as well as a snack and a warm coat. It get very windy!

Crazy Mexican Place!
by carlitoab about Garibaldi's
This place is insane! Located in a basement, this tiny mexican place is the perfect place to get drunk and got crazy. Not only is it full of students and other young people (and tourists), it has a tiny dancefloor and seating area which means everyone is moving around... Not for the faint-hearted. It stays open late pretty much 7 nights a week. Drinks are reasonably priced.
Tapas aree available during the day too. Anything goes, just don't look scruffy or wear tracksuits etc...
