Edingburgh Delight

We spent our honeymoon here and have been back twice.
Next year on 25 June is our golden wedding and we hope to spend it at the Eglinton Hotel.
We have enjoyed our stays there, now its for nostalgia

Stay 1998

Room #11 from 10 October 1998 to 14 October 1998 booked through Edinburgh Airport Hotel Information desk.
Service first rate. Room was pleasant with nice fabrics and furnishings, with both a double and single bed, writing desk, TV, roomy wardrobe, coffee-making facilities, bathroom with shower.
Manager was Ted Sutherland at that time, and website was: www.eglinton-hotel.co.uk/

Unique Quality: Meals in the ground floor 'Pictures & Prints Restaurant' were wonderful ! Breakfast, dinner, and even a welcome cup of coffee late morning or in the afternoon after traipsing around Edinburgh, there was a nice, homely feeling here. The far end of the restaurant - set up as a bar - was equally inviting, with comfortable seating and of course, more pictures.
