We were planning to stay there for eight days, but it was so disgusting, taht we left after having spent one night there.
In fact there is in a good location within walking distance from Royal mile, but this is definetely all good I can say about.
First the street in which is located smells like... well extremely bad.
If you get into the building, a very narrow and dark stair takes you to the hostel.
And as we arrived, the toilettes were extremely dirty, as someone had thrown out and nobody had cleaned it up.
The showers had no warm water. I saw no plugs at all in the room were the (3? or were there 4?) showers are and so people went to the kitchen to dress their hair. The dorm was so tight, that we had to stand up one by one for getting dressed in the room.
We hasty left the hostel as soon as posible...
I would never, ever go there again.
Unique Quality: Besides the nasty street and the entrance, exactly oposite of many hughe containers for garbbage.
Directions: Right in front of the rear door, for delivery, of Burger King.
Well let start with some good points, this was really cheap and really close to the center.
The hostel is at the top of a big building with a club in the ground floor. We were afraid of the noise but at the end that was ok.
You simply have to climbs hundreds of steps before reaching the intrance. However the artwork on the walls was pretty cool (see the pictures on their website) and so far, so good...
On the bad side, the dorms and the showers were amazingly dirty! People staying in our (incredibly messy) dorm were not really the guys you want to meet alone in a dark street!! Hopefully i was not alone, ... It was maybe not the right time to stay there but for sure, that was far from being a good experience...
One last point, I've been there in 99, hopefully this has been disinfected since then...
