Glasgow Hotel

The Cathedral House is expensive, but Glasgow is expensive. The room was large and clean, and the bartender/reception manager was very friendly and helpful.

We had room 1, and it was up three flights of unattractive stairs. Breakfast was in the bar/cafe and had several nice options for a cooked breakfast.

If looking to stay somewhere...

If looking to stay somewhere with a bit of character then I would recommend the Cathedral House Hotel. It is next to Glasgow Cathedral and is a quaint little place which used to be the gatehouse of a prison.

I am actually celebrating my 21st birthday here in its function room in just under three weeks time, so I will let you all know how it goes. If someone is kind enough to buy me a scanner for my birthday, I might even put on some pictures! ;-)
