Seems to be a Crowne Plaza now, but the fabric had not caught up with the brand when I was there (May 06). Rooms looked a bit tired.
Location very good. Close to motorways etc. On Clydeside, and quiet at weekends. I went on a good run before breakfast and enjoyed it. Couldn't have done that in city centre.

Have not stayed as I have never lived any more than a 20 minutes or less cab ride away from the venue, but have had dinner and lunch and attended probably two dozen seminars and trade shows over the years, mostly when the hotel was the Glasgow Moat House. In fact, my wife and I were the models in the late 1990s for the restaurant's promo literature
It is right beside the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, SECC, www.secctickets.com, and also the Clyde Auditorium, an architectural copy of Sydney opera house, and the only part of the SECC purpose built for concerts.
Also just across the Bells footbridge over the Clyde to Pacific Quay, where there is the new HQ for BBC Scotland and also Scottish Television stv adjacent.
