Charing Cross Tower Hotel or...
Charing Cross Tower Hotel or the Kelvin Lorne Hotel. Both are well placed for the shopping frenzy in the city centre or a beer-fest in the West-end. They aren't too expensive and the Charing X often does two for one deals.
