I love the old builings with their stone columns, ornate carvings and warm sandstone, - Why can't modern buildings be like this?????This picture shows a wonderful example, I think it is on Bothwell Street, or close by, heading west from Central Station. As you can see, the ground level is now a supermarket (Marks & Spencer).I got some funny loks from locals as I took this photo!
Everyone is just so used to this streetscape they ignore this beauty. But this, for me, is Glasgow.
