There are some lovely stretches of open road.If your dream holiday consists of rambling along quiet tracks, through open countryside or over hills and mountains, then this is the place for you!. The land is generally flat - and even the Glens roll along gently without too many steep hills if you opt to walk or cycle. (Not my thing)
Resteneth Priory
Thr ruins of Resteneth Priory lie in a tranquil setting, just north of Forfar.
The chancel and tower of the churh of Augustinian Canons still remain. The lower part of the tower is very early Romanesque work.

It was a long long journey from East Slovakia through Prague, London to Dundee. I came here at first time on early morning. The sun raised up, from the harbour a loud seaguls we heard. It was my first touch of Dundee.
DUNDEE is one of Scotland´s four major cities and is situated on the east coast of Scotland at the Mounth of the Tay Estuary, 60 miles north of Edinburg and 67 miles south of Aberdeen.
The name of the city is thought to have derived either from the Celtic 'Duntaw'-the hill on the Tay-or from the Iron Age fort on top of Dundee Law called 'Dun Diagh'. Dundee's current population is approximately 145,000. 200 years ago, Dundee had a population greater than that of Glasgow.
