So you find yourself in Stevenage....

"New town."

Stevenage is one of many post-war 'new' towns that popped up around the UK. Stevenage itself had been around prior to this, just without the sprawling concrete suburbs.

As far as towns go, it has a thoughtful layout. Separate cycle paths almost cover the town, and there are plenty of green spaces and woodlands.

The town centre is tired and grey, the inhabitants seem depressed.
